It's Been A LONG LONG Time
Wow! So my life has been super hectic/busy...I completely forgot about this blog and apologize...
I am so blessed and thankful that we have finally found something that at least helps with W's schooling. He is now on Vyvanse 20mg (he is being increased to 30mg, but I am SO hesitant to start that I haven't filled the script yet). He brought home all 3's and 4's which are basically A's & B's. He moved up to the next "level" at the alternative school and has had VERY minimal behavior referrals.
Both R & W are currently in soccer...somehow I convinced myself it would be a good idea to help out and be coach. I've been doing good with it, but sometimes would rather be the one on the sideline being able to take pics of the kids. Oh well, they are enjoying it and getting their endless energy out. :)
M is a monster...no really...like a real life giant! He will be 2 on May 1st and is already in a size 10 shoe, size 4T shirts and 2T pants. A lot of his clothes have been hand-me-downs from W that he was wearing only a year or so ago. He is in the 99.9% for height and 98% for weight.
As for myself, I love my job. I have been designated as the Cerner SME which is the main program the hospital utilizes...so I like to think of myself as important, lol. D is no longer working and has become a 'stay at home dad'. While we can financially afford it, I'm still not too sure I'm keen on the idea. It's only been two weeks so I do need to be patient and give it time. It will be good as it has made me cut back on my unnecessary spending. Although right now I could go for a nice massage :(
Other than that, just living day by day. Goal this year is to start losing weight. I want to lose 40lbs total, however I am not going to force a number on myself to lose by the end of the year. I will be happy if I lose even 10lbs and keep it off by the end of the year. I really need to find an exercise routine I can stick to that I enjoy...really hard with three kids (oh and a puppy!) running around. Especially since they all seem to favor me...my "free time" is spent trying to de-stress playing pretty pointless games on the computer. I will try my best to be more active on my blog...offer tips and hints about children (one with Aspergers/one with rage issues/and then of course a baby/toddler) and maybe my weight loss goal.
