Mother's Day and Naptime
So Mother's Day is coming up this Sunday in America...I was kind enough to get a present/card for my step-daughter's biological mother and send it off on time...
My husband keeps asking me what I want for Mother's Day or if I would like to go do this or that...honestly what I really would like is a day to sleep in. Take the kids to the park, all three of them, and lock the dog out of the room and let me sleep in. I think that would be grand. Sleep is one of those things that when I get a chance to do it, I love the idea.
Isn't it funny how when you are a baby you sleep all the time...as you get older you hate the idea of naps...but then you reach the point in your life where naptime would be a WONDERFUL idea if implemented in the workplace. I know I would jump at that benefit.
Anyways back to Mother's Day...it really hasn't been a surprise...I already know everything that him/the kids plan on getting me. If there is something else then I would be surprised...however as much as materialistic items can be fun, honestly all I want is to relax and sleep in.
