Emotional Roller Coaster Ride

So Friday was my last official day at my old position...Monday is the first day of my new position with the corporation.  I am really sad to leave behind all of my old co-workers, however at the same time I think it is a good thing for me, because the new position not only will help me grow, but it will teach me more about responsibility and other important life lessons.  My old position, I was able to socialize while getting my work done...no walls...my new job I will be in a cubicle for the majority of my day and while there may still me some interaction, it won't be anything like it was before.
Following this whole situation, today is a very sad day for me.  Today we are giving Bruce to a new home.  He is a wonderful puppy, however he is more than we can handle right now with three kids and does not get the proper attention he deserves.  He will be missed a lot though since he is my sleeping buddy at night (he literally sleeps on my feet all night)....however I will not miss coming home to something destroyed (like my antique wicker chair...or the big hole he put in the wall on the outside of my house...) or having my youngest throw toys at him and have me chase him around the house yelling "drop it".
Well hopefully Sunday will be a happy day...and just so you know I will be around on Sunday since I don't believe the Rapture is today...apparently someone didn't read the memo that no one will know the time or the day...
