Hooray For Good News!
I got the JOB!!! YEA!!! 3rd times a charm!!!
Words cannot explain my pure joy and excitement (and relief)...however I imagined a completely different reaction. More dramatic...tears running down my face...but it didn't happen that way.
I received the phone call while still in my 1 year old's doctor appointment...so I listen to the voicemail and my new boss sounds calm and kinda disappointed. My first thought was "Great! I don't want to call back...I didn't get the job" (Side note: my son is in the 99.4% for height and 94% for weight...he is 32in and 25.4 lbs)
So I call him back and receive the good news. I sure was smiling, but no tears, just a calm thank you...and then of course after I hung up the phone I screamed. There had to be some dramatic closure right? :)

CONGRATULATIONS! you are amazing. And i know you will do great, after all these years working for the company its the least they can do, right?
