Update...
The holidays are fast approaching so be prepared for some yummy quick recipes (w/pictures)! This year I have surpassed my goal of at least 3 "fun runs". I participated in the Color Run in January, then a few months later the "Firefly Run". Yesterday was "Run or Dye". The next three weekends are also filled with "fun runs" (ROC Race, Color Run, Dirty Girl Mud Run) and then I am done for this year. Next year instead of doing a bunch of mini runs, it's my goal to save up and prepare to do the Disney 1/2 marathon at Disneyland.
As for the rest of my life, I am thankful to still have a job and the upcoming opportunities that have been laid out for me by upper management. I am currently preparing for my CISA exam to be taken on December 14th. All three kiddos are alive and well. And last but not least we are slowly preparing to make a move sometime within the next two years (starting May 2014 we will seriously be looking at put the house on the market). This house has been wonderful and while I would rather invest on just upgrading things I don't like (i.e. kitchen counters/cabinets), we have outgrown the house. The boys each need their own room and I need a real office if I'm going to continue to work at home.
