Day 1 of 21...
The original intention was to wake up and work out...however with three kids this isn't always a possibility. Thankfully I work at home, so I was able to look at my work calendar and determine when I had 30 minutes to get my work out in. Yup...you read that right...only 30 minutes, once a day...and yes it does work. I'm not going to lie and say it is easy, but as time goes on it doesn't get easier...you just get stronger. Today was the first day I had worked out in about six months. I did the Upper Fix Extreme and let me tell you my arms are killing me. The tricep dips which look like a piece of cake? Yeah, no...those babies almost made me want to quit BUT I didn't. I continued and pushed through the 30 days of workout. At the end of this, I will post the before and after pics of myself. Let's just say the measurements and weight that I took on Sunday along with the before pictures are more than enough motivation for me to get healthy and get back in shape. It even helps that my kids (well at least two out of three) are right on board with trying the different "healthier" foods that I plan to prepare. Here's to a new...better...me...
