Children

I have three wonderful children (5 year old boy, 5 year old girl/stepdaughter, 1 year old boy (well almost).  Boy do they know how to push buttons...so of course I must have patience.  My 5 year old boy is special needs...he was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 4 however as time has gone on it has been mentioned that it may be something else (Aspergers, ADHD w/ODD)...so he will be fully evaluated on June 30th.  For months I have been dealing with the stress of daily phone calls...for me a good day is when Tutor Time doesn't call me...I could care less what he did all day as long as I don't get a phone call.  Recently his behavior has been worse than normal and has really pushed some buttons.  Mostly just destructive behavior, but sometimes biting occurs (which he never did as a baby/toddler).  My 5 year old girl has luckily gotten a lot better since she has been permanently in our care.  She used to have rage fits where she would hit and scream horrible things...mostly "I hate you" or "I'm going to kill you"...things that shouldn't be coming out of a 4 year olds mouth.  As I said though she has gotten a lot better and to be honest I don't remember the last time she threw one of these fits.  My youngest will be 1 on May 1st.  Its amazing how different he is from the other two.  Even though he is just a baby, he is laughing, giggling, smiling, all the time.  Very good nature.  I hope he stays this way.

I've always heard that writing is a good form of therapy and lord knows I should probably write more often with the stress I have in my life.  I'm not really looking for followers or have a real purpose behind this, but if you would like to join me on this adventure, I'm sure there will be some fun stories...as well as some sad ones.  This is my life and thank goodness...patience...I have some...
